Rahul Vohra graduated from Delhi University and completed his MA French, French Cinema and Translation at JNU before obtaining a State Doctorate in International Cultural Management from UNESCO, Paris and the University of Burgundy, Dijon. He has worked on popular Bollywood and International movies like Gour Hari Dastaan, Sir, Kama Sutra, Monsoon Wedding, Pyaar Impossible, Swades, and Un plus Une.

With an in-depth knowledge of India’s performing arts, along with international experience in the fields of theatre, television and cinema, Rahul Vohra has worked with traditional artistes worldwide for over thirty years and is the Proprietor and Directeur Artistique of Apostrophe 99 since 1999. He is also a life member of the Authors Rights Association SACD, in Paris,  and in Mumbai of the Cine and Television Artists Association,  the Indian Film and Television Producers Council, IFTPC and the Film Writers Association, FWA. In 2014, The Government of France conferred upon him the title of ‘Knight of the Order of Arts and Letters’ for significant contribution to Theatre and Cinema.
